New Website Features

Screen Shot 2013-09-22 at 5.59.03 PMWe set out to make the most interesting and amazing Tribal website online. This site is a visual and intellectual extension of the Tribal Council’s Will.

Events, Meetings, Education, Enterprises are presently all highlighted and featured on the homepage. Along with many informative and interesting photo galleries. We have featured the Brush Arbor, front and center, to highlight the importance of this historic and ancestral land. The site we have designed has a focus on education and culture while maintaining a clear presence for the Tribe’s enterprises. All of this has been built into an intuitive and robust navigation system that lets you find the content you are looking for quickly, while enjoying a pleasant visual environment that reflects the spirit of the Tribe.

One of the most important features we have come up with is an education, language, lecture and podcast module. This allows us to offer video, music, audio, photos, documents and text of our important classes and events, then promote, publish, syndicate and podcast them. Making this not just an informational website, but the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians Online Language School . This is a full podcasting platform.

Links to the Tribes Enterprise projects are strategically placed you can very readily notice and click on them. All the essential information about these enterprises is included. We also have developed a full working map and directions page for both the River Rock Casino and The Alexander Valley RV Park that allows anyone to get important information and directions to Tribal enterprise locations quickly and easily. Try it.

We proudly have also created a DCR News and Blog section that will function as a means to keeping the website fresh, dynamic and current, which we know is important to you the visitor. Being topical, relevant, entertaining and informative is what we set out to do along with representing the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians in the brightest, most positive light possible!

This website is “Responsive” and will determine what a visitor is viewing the site with (iphone, Android, ipad, Kindle or computer) and deliver a version of the website up that is best for each individual.

We are approaching this project first and foremost with deep respect for your culture and history. Thank you for this opportunity to share with you and educate the public about our rich culture, history and People.
